As a result of this change, the following will no longer be available: Online Lynx Emulator, Collection Tracker, Game Ratings, News. If you are interested in contributing content to Atari Lynx Vault, we are seeking editors and maintainers.
Why is this happening? First - the Atari Gamer branding is changing to K-Retro Gaming to allow us to expand to providing games, replacement parts, and mod services to other game consoles. And second - The content management system running Atari Gamer is out of date and Google AppEngine (where the website runs) will no longer allow it to run after the 30th January 2024, so in order to preserve all content we switched to a new and modern content management system and chose a website domain that better suits the subject matter. Since we are operating this website in our spare time, on top of full time family and job committments, some features had to be dropped.

Zaku has ceased operations as a publisher and will now work as a developer instead. Hopefully that means some new Atari Lynx games from them!

8-bit Unity is a development platform for retro games and they have something new coming up...
I am approximately 2 weeks away from releasing version 0.3 of 8bit-Unity, which adds support for the Atari Lynx and greatly improved sprites on all platforms.Importantly, this will be the first version compatible with the 8bit-Hub hardware I have been working on. This includes Wifi, SD card, PS2 mouse, and 4 Joysticks, all in one box!!!

Cross-Chase has been released for Atari Lynx some time back, but now Fabrizio Caruso, it's creator has made some updates to it. It still run in 'text mode' on the Atari Lynx but full graphics version is in the works. What's amazing about this game is it's available for hundreds of retro consoles and attempts to support their individual capabilities to the fullest. Worth keeping an eye on! You can

The Atari Times website has been down for quite some time, but no more! Atari Gamer has reached out to Gregory D. George and he was able to fix everything and restore all the articles and information. It's great to see this resource available again!
Analogue have announced the Pocket. It's definitely something to get for your retro gaming! You will need to get an additional adapter for Atari Lynx cartridges though. Check out what they had to say -

We
noted a couple of weeks ago that White Lynx Productions will be at this year's PRGE. Well that hasn't changed, but Karri has now confirmed that he's finished the jukeboxes that he'll be exhibiting. These will have all of the games from the
30th Birthday celebrations on them. You will also be able to purchase a copy of On Duty.
