Raid on TriCity - new digital version & physical edition

As a result of this change, the following will no longer be available: Online Lynx Emulator, Collection Tracker, Game Ratings, News. If you are interested in contributing content to Atari Lynx Vault, we are seeking editors and maintainers.

Why is this happening? First - the Atari Gamer branding is changing to K-Retro Gaming to allow us to expand to providing games, replacement parts, and mod services to other game consoles. And second - The content management system running Atari Gamer is out of date and Google AppEngine (where the website runs) will no longer allow it to run after the 30th January 2024, so in order to preserve all content we switched to a new and modern content management system and chose a website domain that better suits the subject matter. Since we are operating this website in our spare time, on top of full time family and job committments, some features had to be dropped.

Raid on TriCity has been released for some time and Yastuna Games has announced that they were working on an updated version too. Well now the time has come and there is not one version of this game, but two! A free digital release and a physical release with a story mode and much more included. Here's an update from the developer...

Raid on TriCity - First Impact is the name of the new arcade version of the game, it enhances the experience from last year:

the game is now more punchy
you can chose 3 levels of difficulty to start
bombs now explode when they hit the ground, this is a real game changer, so be careful
a leaderboard keeps trace of your high scores

This version is available for free on itch.io for your flashcards or emulators.

Raid on TriCity - Second Wave is the physical release of the game, it features the same arcade mode that the First Impact has, and also adds a whole new Story mode:

chose your path wisely and travel from challenge to challenge,
encounter friendly or unfriendly events, and try to succeed before the time runs out,
unlock Story Mode++, where you only have 1 life to succeed.
